Pricey Harrison on the issues
Economy
Pricey values the industry of NC's business owners and their employees. She voted to raise NC's minimum wage to $6.15 an hour, worked to cut red tape hindering small business, and supported efforts to bring jobs to the Triad. Pricey has also sponsored and passed legislation protecting NC consumers.
Education
Pricey realizes that education holds the key to the North Carolina's economic future. Pricey has supported youth programs such as Smart Start and More at Four, worked hard to secure funding for the state's public school system, and provided the resources that ensure that North Carolina's public university system rests amongst the nation's best.
Healthcare
Pricey knows that we have to address run-away costs that exclude some NC families from top quality healthcare. As your Representative, she wants to give ALL North Carolinians access to the quality medical care they deserve.
Environment
Pricey is a staunch environmental steward in the NC House. In the past two years, she has fought hard to clean up North Carolina's air and water and to address urban sprawl. Pricey's want to ensure that the natural beauty of North Carolina will be here for future generations to enjoy.
Campaign and Ethics Reform
Pricey is a strong voice for cleaner government in Raleigh. True to her word, Pricey's re-election campaign is not accepting money from special interest groups or political committees.
